Sydney is deeply passionate about community service, with a particular focus on the education and welfare of underprivileged children, as well as a strong commitment to nature and environmental conservation. He resides in Woodside and San Francisco, California, with his partner, a Jack Russell Terrier, and three barn cats.

The Legendary Story Behind the Estate
Filoli is more than just a mansion; it carries the glorious memories of California’s Gold Rush era. The estate was built in 1917 by William Bowers Bourn II, the owner of California’s most famous gold mine—the "Empire Mine."
The most celebrated aspect of the estate is the origin of its name, "Filoli." It is not an ordinary word, but an acronym derived from Mr. Bourn’s personal credo:
